High resolution ISAR imaging in receiver centered region area in bistatic radar

چکیده
Aim at overcoming limitations from a single fixed aspect in monostatic inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) system, bistatic radar system becomes a hot research topic in ISAR imaging. However, it is become more difficult to obtain a high resolution ISAR image of maneuvering target in receiver centered region area of bistatic radar for time varying bistastic angle and equivalent line of sight (LOS) aspect. In this paper, a super-resolution imaging method based on Radon transform combined with time chirp distribution search (TCDS) procedure is proposed. This method attempts to estimate the chirp rate and its changing rate corresponding to high-order phase terms in cross range. After compensating the phase error of high order, more scattering centers of target are extracted and high resolution imaging is generated by Radon-TCDS-Relax algorithm. Simulation results are provided to demonstrate the performance of the proposed method.

متن کاملImaging Analysis of Space Target in Bistatic ISAR
Abstract. Bistatic angle is an important characteristic parameter of bistatic inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR), which is different from monostatic ISAR. Based on the echo model of bistatic ISAR, the impact of time-varying bistatic angle to imaging plane and quality is analyzed. The image distortion mechanism is studied and the distortion angle is estimated. The simulation experiment veri...

Bistatic synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging from very asymmetric configuration is a promising technique for both military and civilian issues. Indeed, an illuminating radar standing off at a safe distance may be combined with a low cost, possibly unmanned air vehicle using a passive radar receiver operating at closer range. Practical civilian application could be high resolution remote sens...
متن کاملTwo-Dimensional Imaging Algorithm Based on Linear Prognosis for Space Target in Bistatic ISAR System
In bistatic inverse synthetic aperture radar (Bi-ISAR) system, its image resolution is lower than monostatic ISAR system. In order to solve this problem, the linear prognosis algorithm is adopted in the imaging process and the imaging algorithm based on linear prognosis is proposed. Space target Bi-ISAR imaging is taken as example in the research. The one-dimensional range profile is created th...
متن کاملSparse Fusion Imaging for a Moving Target in T/R-R Configuration
For high resolution imaging of a non-cooperative moving target, this paper proposes a sparse fusion imaging method. The imaging system contains two radar stations, which are separated by a certain bistatic angle and configured in a transmitter/receiver-receiver (T/R-R) manner. Consequently, two synthetic apertures are obtained at the same time from different aspect angles. By coherently fusing ...
